What is an ordinary person supposed to do?
Answer: Call us & get it solved!
Let's be honest...there's more than one place in Delray Beach to get your computer fixed.
You can go to the big box stores, and stand on line, and ultimately speak to...who? A clerk, who makes a low hourly wage and is trained and coached to upsell you to purchase additional software.
Retail clerks are not computer professionals: they are unskilled salespeople who have been coached to sell highly profitable add-on warranties and nonsense software.
Best Buy, Office Depot, Staples, and CompUSA are acceptable places to buy hardware, when it is on sale.
At the other end of the spectrum, there's that kid down the block who will work on your PC for $10 an hour. The price is great, but so is the risk. The risk of losing valuable data, the risk of wasting valuable time, the risk of paying again to get the job done right.

All of our technicians are both Microsoft-Certified Systems Engineers with at least 10 years of experience installing & repairing personal computers and building computer networks. They are also Comptia A+ Certified computer technicians, but we consider real-world experience to be much more important than the certifications.
Why? Because we solve tough computer problems and turn new clients into raving fans, just like that guy above...
Look, this stuff isn't rocket science, it's a craft, and it does take years of onsite, hands-on experience to get good at it. But it's not just about experience; our techs spend a lot of time reading about newer technologies, reading manufacturer's product guides, and studying for additional certifications.
This isn't a profession that is just about the technology; it is about how businesses and home users actually use the technology.
It's about understanding the diference between what the computer manufacturer says the printer or scanner will do, and what it actually does when it is installed. It's about what to do when Microsoft says one thing, and the computer maker says another.
It's about understanding and troubleshooting an internet connection issue when Comcast is blaming Hewlit Packard, and HP is telling you the problem is Windows (Microsoft), and Microsoft is indicating the problem is in the isp.
